Shelley, you and Chris are more than welcome to join FP and myself. Guess I'd better get the grocery getter all fixed up as it has more room than FP's car. I may just rent us a van for the weekend instead, so we can load up all the goodies.

92, if I had the room I would love some silkie serama chicks, I have 3 picnic coolers I can bring with me as well as the canopy, and I can bring a couple of folding tables as well.

Shultz: I asked about the canopy, and yes I can borrow it for the party

Sorry guys, I have been really busy with the chicks and turkeys the past few days or so. I will try to get some things worked out on the main page as far as who may be bringing what. Quail eggs in a jar sound like a good guessing game. I am trying not to get too overwhelmed with ideas because there is a lot to do. All of the ideas are great and I am open to them all, I just don't want to have TOO much going on that people don't get a chance to relax and talk chicken. If anyone would like to volunteer to take charge of any area, please let me know~Thanks!

Oi! If you got a pullet I'll trade you some leghorn eggs or possibly by then some bantam black wyandotte eggs.

I don't know about leghorns, I'm not really 'in' to layer breeds, seeing as I'm allergic to eggs

But the bantam wyandottes sound interesting!

ETA: I have about half a dozen babies in the brooder right now, so I'll know soon enough if there are any pullets. Gosh, I'd hope so!!

I should have them, but I'll let you know for sure. I had 3 hatch out of some eggs that were supposed to be something else. I had 1 that was obviously naked necked, and that one has left the building

The other two are both splash colored, but neither of them looks like naked necks. I didn't realize they were until their feathers started coming in. One has frizzled feathers, and the other has green legs

If I still have them then (a local friend might be taking them), I'll let you know
