I should warn you, that it is like a country boutique. A fine line of scented candles, and stuff to spend your money on if you have some you don't know what to do with. I passed up a tea light candle holder made from copper strapping and made to look like a bridle. I've kicked myself for not getting it ever since.

And with their feed? Well stocked!

Just my humble opinion, of course.

Ya, I'm a sucker for cute stuff like that but this trip will be all chicken business!! All of my money is tied up in the Chickenstock so that keeps my wallet closed pretty tight. However, it can't hurt to look

Rob actually had to drive to Bloomington for DE, thank god he also had to go there for another reason! It's nice to know that someone closer has it!!

The last bag of DE I bought came out of Texas and including shipping was a dollar a pound for a 50# bag. I didn't know Orhcard had DE. Very curoius what their price is. But, not worried as they are a very reasonable place. IMHO, of course.

I still need ideas for the piñata. I need to go shopping and I don't want to fill it with "cheep stuff" or candy! I haven't had any time to ask for donations....

I need your opinions everyone. No one has volunteered to bring ribs so far. Should I scrap them from the list or start saving my garage sale money? I really want to have them but if you guys aren't worried about it, then I will scrap the idea.

babies are doing well thank you!!! I will probly bring a little pullet to re-home/sell because it has a little deformed hook beak going on. Kind of curves to the right when you look at it straight on. The poor dear...still eat's just fine and is very strong...i just don't have the heart to cull the bad traits out of my baby flock since i have plans of breeding. So i will start the dibs system now if anyone is intrested...lol

asylum, glad the babies are doing good. I am sure someone will want your milles!

chseeads, Rob couldn't remember the name of the place in Bloomington, he saw a feed store while there to pick up a coil for our mower and decided to stop. The Orchard, however, is just south of Martinsville.

Mandy, We are just as excited too!

Lee, I'm not sure of the price of DE at the Orchard but whatever it is, I am sure it's worth it
