Well, we just added another name (3 more peeps!) Welcome Macnugget from Ohio!

justusnak-yes ample parking is available, my neighbors have graciously offered to let us use their field for parking and it's a couple of acres. Which reminds me, I know I don't have to say this but I will anyway, please be respectful of my neighbors. We live in a small neighborhood and everyone has received the party idea very well and I don't want to lose thier respect. We will have trash barrels available, please use them. What you don't clean up after yourself, we have to clean up.

For Egg_newton and everyone else, I am going to post the schedule on the main page today. I do ask that everyone give us a little time in the morning to start setting up and get our chickens fed and watered. 10:00am, I think would be a good time to get here. If you want to come early to help set up, that would be great too! So to answer the question, it will start at 10am!

CoopCrazy and everyone, you are welcome and thanks everyone for the cheers! This has not been my biggest event but I can say it has been the most nervous one! It will all work out and I can't wait to meet everyone. I am sure we will hit a few snags but we will get through it, I hope everyone will enjoy themselves anyway

I emailed you again, Kathleen! This will be wonderful. I need to charge the camera and phone so I don't miss a thing. Kudos to our daughter who will stay home to take of things here!

We will be going towards Ed's place to pick up things there, then coming towards Indy.

redneck golf? Is that like cornhole? We will be trying to have a competition and could use another. addiedunn is supposed to be bringing her 2 but I haven't heard from her in so long!

I'm not sure if I can make it or not. My father is being a rather...BIG jerk. I thought he would be happy is I got rid of 9 roos but..nope he's not. I asked him about the pullets from other BYC people and he just kind of ignored me. So who knows if I'll be able to get them or even come to the swap. I do have 4 friends that want to come and they will probably be bringing 2 turken cocks.

I don't know why I didn't think of this before..... In November 2006, a few of us from the OLD BYC went to the National Poultry show in Indy. We met friends from before and after, and one of the gals had this special BYC banner made. Her name was Penny Artio (Arizona), and she came to the Nationals to hang out and visit us Indiana folks. We were planning a Chickenstock for May 2007, when Penny suddenly had a heart attack and passed away. A close friend of Penny's sent me the banner, so we will always remember her.

I only met her once, but she was a great influence to us all. Here is a picture of Judy (from Kentucky), Penny, and me when we all had supper together that evening.

I will bring the banner for everyone to see and sign! Peace, Penny.
