Indiana Turkey sources

Hi All,

Does anyone know where I could get some Turkey poults in Indiana? I don't want BBW, and prefer heritage breeds if possible. I only want 5 or 6, so the hatcheries won't work for me. They all have 15 minimums. I also think it is always better to go local if possible, and that way I get to meet people who like poultry as much as I do!

I'm not sure how far away you are? But I get mine from a man who lives on the road hardinridge beach is on. There are signs on both sides of the road. I bought royal palms from him. But he has other breeds. I can't remember how many diffrent breeds. But he raises just about everything I think. Iv bought chickens turkeys ducks peacocks and guineas from him. If you would like his # let me no I will pm it to you.

I live just outside Indianapolis. Not sure where you are, so don't know how far it is. I'd love to get the contact number. It's always good to have an excuse for a road trip.

I purchased black spanish poults from a guy south of Bloomington. He is usually on Craigslist as snoozing goose ranch. I also got bourbon reds from a gent up north nearer Pendleton who breeds them, but I didn't see any ads from him last year. His poults were very nice and I wish I could find him again!

If anyone has poults in the Indy area, I'd love to get some white midgets this time around.....
