Hi everyone,

I understand small lake and how ducks come together to keep that one area not frozen. Wow
5 days too cold to get out of water I see them but don't want to disturb them

Question Is: So they just stay in area not eat, nor get out of the water......?

Anyone have more Information links I missed.
Thank you

Kim

PS. my previous posts about geese so special I will post in correct thread
Mom and geese family are still here.

" December " the one that can't fly I think Mom and family won't leave one that can not fly.
Awesome but cold...

A friend willing to take the one that can't fly, "If family leaves it" Thank you

It has been several months
All family still there, I see them fly for a short time, they always come back with one that can't. Weird !

Hubby and I driving south from Indy, Durn I didn't get a photo of, there were
at least 100 + geese in a SUPER V flying south to where ever.
With Side Wingers ........ amazing.

Where do they go ?

Thanks
Kim

Probably Texas or along the gulf somewhere, at least somewhere warmer and wetter not frozen. Glad to hear the family has stayed behind with the one that can't fly, to me that's a miracle.
