Hello all,
I am looking for a chicken farming mentor in Indiana or a midwestern state with similar weather conditions. I am from Indiana, worked farms as a young man, teenager. Joined the army... 25 years in. I am retired. Just purchased a small farm in my home town. And would like to hear what issues, benefits and a local perspective of raising a small flock of chickens are. I am open to suggestions, directions and advice.
