Thought Crookie is allowed inside sometimes for being cute

My chickens come inside when I leave the back door open. I walk into the kitchen and find 10 chickens hanging out there. Makes me laugh every time!
Kiwi is allowed to come inside and watch TV with me on the sofa (he's on my lap, not directly on the sofa. He's such a sweet boy and I think he deserves a break from everything he does for his ladies (and brother).

Actually i was thinking about this... my cochin doesn't fly as well either.. so i might get her another cochin friend.. but if she's a land lubber, maybe a couple silkies would make for a cute little flock club too. Im sure the D'uccles and polish will be hanging out up high.

Please if you want a house chicken remember that chickens are FLOCK animals they need a companion Also I’m not sure how you keep your house clean (mine seems untidy even without indoor pets) I do understand that many people end up with one hen because of various reasons and decide to take them in so they get some company and so they don’t get lonely. That’s OK. I personally think keeping chickens inside the house isn’t a good idea. Thought Crookie is allowed inside sometimes for being cute

Thanks! But now he doesnt even want to be fed ( he knows how to by himself) he always squirms out of the towel he’s wrapped up in and act’s like he’s not a baby anymore and doesn’t need caring for. Silly little boy ( probably girl but I can’t start calling him „she” for some reason)
