Open Contest Indoor Plant Show—2025 BYC Summer Fair

I bought the Thanksgiving Cactus in 1976. We had just moved our farm. When a Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter Cactus plants have age on them their trunks will have a wood fiber appearance. View attachment 4177632
My other Thanksgiving Cactus is 25 years old. I bought her when we moved our farm here.View attachment 4177637
Wow, that's amazing. Truly amazing. I didn't know that about the trunks either. I got one a few months ago that I don't think is very old. I'm just so shocked they live that long. Your plants are absolutely gorgeous by the way, even for that age! Thank you for sharing all of this!

My entry #4:

African Violets. They seem to like the kitchen area because of the humidity from cooking and washing dishes.

Dionaea muscipula, AKA the Venus fly trap.

Yes, these things do flower.
Just replying so I can get notifications, mainly because one of my entries from the outdoor show was moved here.
Welcome to this contest! I found your entry and it does seem to fit here. (I wasn't the one who moved it. I'm not able to do that.) I hope to see more entries from you!
That's cool that Venus fly traps bloom. I never knew that.

Carnivorous plants do bloom. I’ve been able to get my sundews to bloom also.

I think I have a picture, let me find it and put it as an entry.
