I bought the Thanksgiving Cactus in 1976. We had just moved our farm. When a Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter Cactus plants have age on them their trunks will have a wood fiber appearance. View attachment 4177632

Wow, that's amazing. Truly amazing. I didn't know that about the trunks either. I got one a few months ago that I don't think is very old. I'm just so shocked they live that long. Your plants are absolutely gorgeous by the way, even for that age! Thank you for sharing all of this!

Carnivorous plants do bloom. I’ve been able to get my sundews to bloom also.

I think I have a picture, let me find it and put it as an entry.

Tell you what, I might as well make all my entries carnivorous plants.

Sundews usually eat flying insects that fly on the leaves. The insects get stuck and then the leaf wraps around them.
