indoor rabbits and cutting the stink

Should be able to get it at any petstore, if not online then like drsfostersmith.com

You could try the little corner litterpans for ferrets, my holland lop uses one. They dont take up much space.

Do I understand that your cages keep the rabbit up on a wire floor and the cage pan is underneath the wire floor?

I don't see how he can tear up the pan if that is the case.

At any rate if the rabbit is up off the pan on a wire floor, you can use pine wood shavings, not saw dust, in the pan. You will still want to scoop out the pee spots and droppings daily, but pine goes a long way in helping with orders. Don't use the finer saw dust because it's too easy for an animal that scoots around with their nose to the ground almost to inhale.

You also don't want the shavings high enough in the pan for him to reach through and eat them. You can't be 100% sure if the wood it's made for is not treated wood.

How about putting the urine guards on the outside of the cage? Maybe they would still deflect but he wouldn't be able to get to them as easily?

I had a holland in my daughters room. He didn't bother the urine guards but some how managed to pee between the bottom of the urine guards and the top of the pan, it permanently stained the wall.

DH was NOT impressed!! Those urine guards need to go all the way down into the pan!!

I wanted to get a cage like this, but never could afford it. http://cgi.ebay.com/Prevue-620-Jumb...emQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item58838842ec
