This is doable, Our tractor has forks! We blew a wheel bearing on our pickup this weekend Be a week or 2 before we can fix it. We can get Menards to load it. then use the tractor to unload, (unless we have enough hands to manually do it.) then place it where its convenient until the work can be scheduled. We have a full length car hauler type trailer that can haul the pipes also. Can be loaded between the wheels of the tractor and strapped down. I think we have a chop saw to cut pipe, if not a sawzall will work.

I can help! Any weekend though maybe not for a huge long while. Just let me know. I had my second procedure on my back Thursday (see all the work I got done since??) And that should tide me over til my surgery.

I'll be getting three 50' rolls of fence at Menards, and nine 21' pipes. I had initially sourced them at K&K fence, but I'll check to see what other options I can put together for travel synergies.

Perhaps it's naive, but it seems the rolls of fence could be rolled off a trailer and to wherever on the ground they'll be stored. Although, when I 'rolled' a 150' roll of farm fence from the car to the backyard it was not very easy to do. I was thinking chain link fabric would not have as many ends of wire poking out to cut and scratch a person.

We don't have a trailer but Dh can help with lifting. Menards around here offers truck rentals by the hour and mileage.

I haven't seen where anyone here has a project that would be ready in May. So I'll put one up.

I will be building a hay wagon egg-mobile, inspired by what Joel Salatin uses on his farm. I just picked up the wagon this weekend, and am working on the design.

Haven't decided on a may weekend yet, but need to have it done before we get too much farther into the year. Let me know if anyone is interested in working on the project with me?

I'm going with 6' chain link fabric and 8' posts. So far, I'm leaning towards Lowe's (not just saying that because it's you) and getting the whole thing delivered for $59 extra.

When we re-did our deck, we went to Home Depot, selected the exact lumber we wanted, which included thirty 2x6x16', loaded them onto the cart at the store, loaded them into the truck, unloaded them from the truck to the pile, then moved the pile to the deck. treated 2x6x16s are REALLY heavy, and by the time I loaded them on the cart, into the truck, out of the truck, I swore I'd have lumber delivered from then on!

It's hard to beat a $59 delivery charge--once you factor in the time and gas to drive to the store, wait for help loading it or load it yourself, then time and gas to drive home, effort to unload it all.

I usually use Home Depot, get free 24-month financing and pay their $50 delivery charge, but Lowe's had more fencing options and matched Menard's prices.
