Inexpensive cameras

While Wifi passwords are possible to crack, I am surprised you have not solved the theft issue by just having a strong password? You can also make your wireless access point not visible (not broadcasting its presence), meaning you would have to manually type in both the wireless network name and the password to access it. I do not recall if these cameras allow you to type in a network name manually, or if they will only allow you to select from/join publicly visible networks. Something to think about.
I had to type mine in when I first set them up.

Do you know if your network is "hidden"? If so, that's a good sign for users of these cameras since it means you could make your Wifi network "un-discoverable" and Wyze will let you type in the name instead of choose from a list of suggested networks. Any neighbor trying to leech off of someones internet should be mostly stopped in their tracks by simply changing the network name and password. The neighbor should then not even be able to try to crack the password since they do not even know the name of the network to begin with. Unless they are a real serious computer person who has the software to discover hidden networks...and at that point they probably don't even WANT to steal internet from a neighbor since the signal is probably so crappy that the speed would not be up to their standards.

Its an at&t router. Your only allowed to use caps and numbers. No special characters and only a ten combo password like ATT675JYG4.Thats not my pswrd, just an example. I tried hiding the ssd but then alot of my stuff wouldnt connect even when I typed ot manually.
I would change the name and the pswrd and the see someone coming from his house (at night with a flashlight) next to my fence, everytime I changed something. Its not like he doesnt have his own wifi. I also think he was hacking my security cameras, or trying to. Id check the logs and see illegal log in attempts made. They are no longer online.

Crazy.

We are living in the future people! The Wyze cameras now let you group cameras together and view them live side by side. My chickens will never have privacy again.
