Inexperienced Unexpectedly New Hen or Rooster owner???

Aww. Yeah. She has a personality for sure. She comes running up to me talking when I go into the pen. lol I love her no matter what her issues are. Haha.

Yes, nothing wrong with keeping her. She has a good life now and that is what matters.

We had a hen that was laying eggs and being very hen like until we sent her with some friends to live in the city with 2 other hens. She was the dominant hen and over the course of about 6 months she began taking on a more dominant and roo like behavior within the flock. She was the last to enter the coop and stood guard over the other two hens. Eventually she started to "crow". It was not clear like a true rooster but enough that she had to leave the city where they frown on roosters and live with us. She did continue to lay but not as frequently. After returning to a big flock with two roosters, she settled down and stopped her rooster like behavior. I read up and this is not as uncommon as I originally thought. Maybe with some more hens she will become less rooster like or maybe she will take care of the other girls.
