Infected cut?

I found this cut on my hens foot is it infected? Or is that just a scabi just want to make sure shes been eating and drinking fine.

Hmm, looks like it’s just a scab, but I might be wrong... how’s she walking? Is she limping? And is her behavior normal? Maybe you could put on some sort of disinfectant cream or something like that?

Chickens are pretty resilient creatures, chances are she’ll be fine.

It looks like bumble foot but in a secluded section. Im not sure if im right but I had that happen to one of mine before and I treated her for bumble foot and it healed

Shes walking fine but two days ago she started not being able to jump she use to be able to jump on my bed thats almost as tall as she is now i have to help her up

Did you just notice this today? It looks like its been there for at least a few days or a week bc its pretty swollen

Ok well I can tell you how you can treat it for bumble foot but im not positive thats what it is even though it looks similar to what my hen had. Do you want me to go through how to treat bumble foot?

This one is a little hard to say...that being said it would not hurt to treat like bumblefoot with Epsom salt soaks remove scab apply antibiotic ointment wrap carefully then repeat every day
