Infection in vent

Silkie was straining to poop the other day and she was basically clogged up with some infection or something yellowish/white and solid/rubbery. I was able to clear some of it in an epsom soak but the yellow hard part is stuck (see first pic). I’ve done several soaks and it is really stuck. I’m worried it’s actually attached. Took her to a vet who couldn’t say for sure if it is hardened infection or tissue or what without doing surgery on the vent. Got some antibiotics and am monitoring her vent. More rubberyish gunk came out today (day 3 - picture 2)

Any advice? Would rather NOT go for surgery but it’s not off the table…

3.5 year old buff silkie. Hasn’t laid since fall.

This might be part of a lash egg, which is an infection. It's something coming from her reproductive tract though so parts of an undeveloped egg even?

Did the vet mention giving any extra calcium? I would be giving her one of my Calcium +D pills. One per day, and can give again for a few days. That would give her contractions so she could pass the rest of it. I'd also put a little coconut oil on her vent to make it stretch easier.

Thank you!! I was thinking maybe part of lash egg too. Vet didnt mention it but I feel like she was trying not to speculate too much. I have tums on hand.. would that work?

Yes, a crushed up Tums mixed in a little bit of mash, yogurt, scrambled eggs, etc. can work in a pinch for a calcium boost.
