Infection

My chicken had this infection on her body. I’ve been treating it like bumblefoot, soaking her putting prid and neosporin on it, and trying to dig it out. It’s not helping in fact I think I’m making it worse. Someone suggested using Bev’s magic equine salve. I just wanted to know if that’s safe for chickens.

It needs to be cleaned out, just like you would with Bumblefoot.
