Infectious Bronchitis or CRD?

I have a 3-year old Buff Orp. roo, who, since he was a year old, has had breathing trouble. He gasps and has issues when he tries to crow, as well as has mucus in his nose and often drools. I know I have asked about my roo before, but recently the judge at a fair suggested bronchitis. Now, the only bronchitis I could fins on the Internet was infectious, and my other birds are not sick. So, is there a non-contagious form of bronchitis, and/or what do you think of Chronic Respiratory Disease? Thanks.

Both Infectious Bronchitis (IB) and CRD (Mycoplasma diseases) are infectious and will spread throughout a flock. Perhaps your rooster might be dealing with a fungal issue. Oxine would take care of it, if in fact it's fungal.

I looked that up: you dilute it (according to the directions on the bottle) with water, then put it in a spray bottle and mist around the bird's face, so the bird inhales the oxine. Repeat for according number of days, and bingo!
Are you sure you mist the bird...everything I found says to apply it ONLY to the housing, not to the animal. Just wasn't sure how THAT method would eliminate pests ON the bird.
