some of my chickens have a bit of a sniffle, one sneezes and a grower has an eye that closes every so often, cleaning it with sterile wipes help in the short term but doesnt get rid of it. my geese have sore and swollen eyes and one had bubbled covering one eye and is using her wings to help her walk (at least i think thats what shes doing, theyre kinda dragging on the ground) and the leg is sore to the touch but i cant see the problem cause of the pain.
none of the birds have all the symptoms but after doing a search on infections and tylan on this site it sounds like infectious synovitis. how serious is it? garlic in the water did nothing. i have to ring the vet back later as he wasnt available when i rang.
