Infertility on day 11

I candled my bantam egg on day eleven and I am not completely sure it's developing. It looked like a chick was inside however it was not as dark as my others. It is a lighter shell but I saw an awful lot for day eleven. It did not smell rotten. If it is infertile, then shouldn't it be rotten by nor? Does this mean it was fertile or not? I do not have a picture of it and it is at a friends house because we went on vacation for the first week while she took care of it. --- PLEASE HELP

There was an air sack but the nonair-sack portion was lighter and almost see through.

Was there any veins? Should be some good veining by day 11. If it's clear with no veins then it's infertile

I believe there were some veins.

Then they were fertile. Infertile will not develop at all

Shouldn't they also smell bad?

Not always. I take any clears out on day 10 and they never smell.
