Heres a real quick run down ,Chicken layer pellets,peas, build your ducks a covered 10x14 pen yes both will kill them.but chicken wire will keep most out(get a electric fence cheap and not hard.)4& 5 both work for you here Probably this spring.(dont rush it) GET THE BOOK NOW like treldib said!

I love my cayugas! Pictures?
they are large, but yes they can be killed by both hawks and raccoons.
I ended up with two males and two females and I only wanted one male.....so I am contemplated getting rid of the 2nd male, plus a mallard and a couple others. We have 14, and 5 are males. Too many males. THey are starting to flirt, mate and we JUST started to get eggs. I think one cayuga has laid eggs and one of my hybrids from Metzer's.

Mine are about 21 week old now.
