Information on Day 7 Egg Please

This had veins and lots of movement. So, kind of worried.

I think I see a dark spot on top?

Maybe it’s because it’s on its side? I candle from the fat end of the egg.

Out of curiosity (I have eggs in the incubator/under broody too) what exactly does a "blood ring" mean?

It means the embryo is dying or already dead. The veining basically loosens and forms a ring around the egg inside.

I candled from every side and this was the best pic I got. I'm sure it's a dud but already back under Xena, so leaving it until the 14th. It didn't stink so it's ok.

And here is a pic of an egg (mine) the same color as your #8. I couldn’t use a flashlight or the light on my phone to see through it. I was down in the basement where it’s pitch black trying to candle lol

An egg candler that I bought off amazon. It was really the only egg I had to use it with. The rest I would use my phone light or flashlight.

Well, they were eggs bought off eBay. I only got them because a pullet went broody.... a LONG story.... since I didn't ever want to be a hatchery... le-sigh! hahaha

I honestly understood I'd either have NO eggs hatching or MAYBE up to 3 eggs hatching..... so, having so many viable is kind of stunning! No worries... I STILL don't believe all of them will make it to hatch..... except for #1 and #10. I really have hope in my heart for those 2.
