Ingredients in feed

This to me isn’t something I’d feed my kids - and I’m trying to figure out what’s causing runny poop with my hens.
Is this standard in chicken feed? How can I modify their diet and cut out the garbage?
Or is this considered okay?
Layers: Corn, wheat, sunflower meal, soybean meal, limestone, oil, vitamins.
Chicks: Corn, wheat, soybean meal, limestone, oil, vitamins.

Well,,, I would not consider any of those ingredients GARBAGE. Remember that animals eat different things than people.
I am not familiar with the type of chicken feed in your area. Is this what most of the people in your area use???
Is it a local mill that produces this mixture??
Runny poo can be caused by other things than just feed. Possibly contaminated water source.
Worms from the environment?? And other things.
Are other people in your area having chickens with same conditions??

Mainly asking if they are feeding same feed as you are.

If their chickens are on a different diet,, and they are healthy,, then switch to feed they are using.

Try a different brand. If you give them crumbles and they waste a lot of feed, switch to pellets.
If you are into doing a lot of research, you free range, you are OK with feeding your chickens meat, and your chickens are not high production breeds, you can look at natural diet recipes.

All of those ingredients are essential to a chicken's diet. No garbage.

lol. I don’t know anyone in my area with chickens
It’s a mill nearby - about 1/2 hour away. I don’t know anything about them other than they supply chicken food and I can buy large amounts for a good price.

My chickens free range and eat everything I give them from proteins to veggies and fruit scraps in addition.

Not true; some source of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals is essential, but those specific ingredients are not. And they would be better in whole form than as 'meals', which can include a little or a lot of rubbish - you can't tell good or bad with a homogenized anything. Which a cynic might say is one reason why they are put through a homogenizing process...

Agree, "meal" means industrial byproduct. Cheap feed made with corn meal or soybean meal or fish meal is most likely made of industrial waste from other industrial processes. For example soybean meal could come from the soy waste left after extracting soy oil or after making soy drinks for human consumption. This allow the industries to keep animal feed cheap. But it certainly doesn't make the animal feed healthy.
For heritage breeds allowed to free range, a balanced mix of real seeds paired with meat (minced raw beef, beef organs, suet in winter) or cottage cheese, curd, or yogurt, gave me the best long term results.

Nothing in that feed is concerning, what I'd be more curious about is the nutrional profile of the feed. Also some pictures of their poop would be helpful in determining the cause of their runny poop

Is it actually runny, like diarrhea? Or is it a cecal poop? Chickens don't always take 'regular,' white capped poops. Cecal is runny and brown, and some are dark and sticky like tar.
