Ingrowen Feather????

after bathing my rooster today I went to clip his nails and noticed he had a spot on the bottom of his foot were his feathers grow out and it seemed to be ingrown but I am not for sure all of his feet feathers are growing back in should leave or remove it and how so would I do that?

You might want to do a search on bumblefoot at the top of the page. I'm not sure your chicken has it, but it looks similar.
