Ingrown comb seems stuck in head

Hi everyone. I have a mosaic 24 week old pullet. It appears for comb is not growing out of the top of her head and is bunched in at the top.

She is tilting her head to one side and closing her eye, and I think it's harming her.

I have been gently massaging the area and very lightly pulling on it and put Vaseline on it as well.

Has anyone seen this before and know what to do? I'm going to take her to the vet if I can't find a solution.

It looks like what we call a side sprig (a point coming off the side but instead of a side sprig it's the whole comb blade.

I really don't think the comb is related to the health issue and you should definitely ask a different forum to figure out what that is.

It's almost like an ingrown hair. I might be able to gently pull it out but I'll take her to the vet for help. It's literally stuck inside part of the comb base.

What other forum should I use if not this one?
