Injured 4 wk old chick

Well, as an adult I understand why my dad did it and he was right to do it. The roo could have seriously hurt my brother and the attacks would have gotten worse. We had neighbors who had ducks but they were mean

Our ducks aren't mean just scared. We have 20 so they flock together and don't imprint on people like my chickens do. We had a rir roo named Tony danza that was continuously attacking my mom brothers and baby sister, so he went. But he was lil 3, so not even the dogs would eat him.

Well that sucks. Thank you very much for your help today I really appreciate it. I have 6 kids to get motivated and fed so i need to get going. I will post an update on Cookie either tonight or tomorrow morning.
