Injured appenzeller

Found one of my appenzeller hens with this injury,

it's right under her wing and i don't know how it happened. I've already put some antibiotic on it. Need some suggestions, thanks.

Do you have a rooster? That is a common area to be injured by spurs or claws while mounting.

What antibiotic did you put on it?

You are going to want to keep it clean and keep flies away from it until it heals.
Are you able to bring her indoors?
