My little Wyandotte bantam x silkie rooster has a prolapse. He's in pain and I don't have any ideas for fixing him. So we'll have to put him out of his pain.
Should we eat him? Is it worth it? I just don't want to waste him

You can put sugar on the vent and possibly cure the prolapse. You can give him aspirin. One aspirin per gallon of water.

If he has to be killed, I would definitely eat him.

Depending upon his age, he might be a nice little barbecue, or maybe a nice pot of chicken noodle soup.
