Injured beak

She was fine an hour ago. But just noticed one of our chicks has a cracked beak and is twisted to the right. I have attached the picture. Thanks in advance.

The beak is twisted to the right? Or the head?

You can mend the beak with super glue and a tiny piece of teabag paper. It will keep the beak from breaking off while it has time to mend.

The beak is twisted. There is dirt and concrete and she pecked the concrete and twisted the beak. The blood is dry.

That's pretty serious. I'd think to properly treat that level of injury to the beak (broken, twisted, and cluttered with bits of concrete, dirt, etc) that a vet would probably need to see her...

I scheduled an appointment for the 21st even though its a few weeks out.

I actually don't think i can wait. I am going to call places and have to travel.

Make sure that she eats and drinks, even if you have to feed and water her by hand. Chickens can dehydrate quickly and easily die if they don't eat/drink...
