Injured blue runner duck,, help! :(

I have a vet appt for my baby blue runner duck in a week, but I feel so bad for her, hoping someone can tell me what this is! When she tries to walk her leg can barely hold any weight and it twists in on itself, then she falls over Could this be an infection of some type? There isn't a whole lot of answers on the internet, anyone with personal experience ? Thanks for any help!

The vet called and I got in early.. in case anyone finds this that has a similar experience and cant figure out what it is, its a slipped tendon. Im going to try and splint this, it wont get any better, but hopefully it will keep the tendon stretched enough so that it doesn't worsen. She is not in any pain that I or the vet can tell, just an annoyance for her. Hopefully, the splint works
