Injured Canada Goose. What should I do?

Pics
It’s very sad to me that building goes on around areas where geese have lived probably their entire lives. Then people move in and want them gone. We have Canada geese flying along our river and it’s a sight to behold. Just sad people see them as pests. When they were most likely there first.
People move out into nature because they want to enjoy nature, but they remove “nature” because it irritates them, after a decade or two it looks like any other suburb.
The same thing’s happening where I live, we used to have bears and a resident mountain lion, but they had to go because it wasn’t safe for children to roam the roads alone.

The irony is after the mountain lion “disappeared” a super pack of coyotes moved in and pets and livestock started going missing everywhere. The kids shouldn’t have been left to wander at their age anyway but they were probably safer with that one lion than 30+ coyotes bold enough to take cats off people’s porches in broad daylight.

Just a little while ago, I heard the geese fly over and figured they'd all left for the evening. Imagine my surprise whenever I checked to see if Gooslyn was gone, only to find her with an interesting friend. I didn't get a picture of them side by side but her friend is a black vulture. We have a lot of turkey vultures around here but this one appears to be a black vulture with it's black head and jet black feathers. I wonder what they have in common :idunno Between myself and this vulture, Gooslyn must enjoy having odd friends 😊 She is doing well today. Whenever I was walking around chit chatting with her while the others napped on the pond late this morning, I had a good laugh. I was walking around the same area that I recorded Gooslyn hopping up. I slid down and landed right on my booty 😂 I can just imagine Gooslyn thinking, "this girl thinks *I* need help with my one foot when she can't stay upright on two!" (I hope you enjoy this as much as I have. It's made me laugh many times today)

I can't remember who it was that mentioned Gooslyn possibly being a Gander, but I think you're right. It's not been here for about a week but showed up yesterday with some beautiful new feathers. Since it's molted and I've been reading a lot on determining sex of the Canada Goose in the field, the tail feathers form a wide square. Of course there's the possibility that I'm wrong, but I am under the impression that females tails are more narrow and form a slight V (not exact V but not squared or rounded off). If anyone can help me out by clarifying, I'd really appreciate it. I took this picture this morning because I was able to get both shapes in one picture. Gooslyn is on the left and closest. This would also explain why the goose has no mate. The sex of the goose doesn't change anything at all. I'm just curious 😀

It was me who thought he was a gander. Sorry, I know nothing about tail feathers. The fact he is alone is why I think for sure he is a gander. Even a female with a bad leg would surely have a mate, from my observations about Canadian geese. Just like mallards, there are always more males than females. Hope Gooslyn is doing well.
