Oh my gosh! Poor fellow!! Did he look like that when he hatched? Was he under a hen? Any other chicks with him? Are sure it’s an injury or could it be deformed? Is he struggling? Personally, I’d look at culling him as an option, there’s not much you can do to help young chicks in such a mess.
I’m not sure who to tag to help more so I’ll just tag @Kiki, hopefully they can help or know another who can!
I don't think it's a deformation I think I can see blood on his beak and when he rubs his beak on me he can make it straight again it's broken not sccisored beakOh my gosh! Poor fellow!! He was under the hen, he's so calm at the moment tbhand what's that about culling ?
Keep away from the hen. Were there any other chickens? Is it possible a rat or small predator did this? Can you some more pictures of all the injuries?
The beak may grow back, but I’m not sure... He has a lot of growing to do. He’ll struggle to eat and drink like that, if he can at all. The injuries are hard to treat on such a young, small chick, with an adult you could superglue the beak back. I would consider euthanising/culling, personally. But do wait for other’s opinions, his injuries may be recoverable, but it doesn’t look great imo
