Injured chick!

Hey everyone.

I have a 2 week old chick that got a piece of wood chip stuck under its eye. I tried to pull it out today but I'm afraid I didn't get it all. Is there anything that anyone would suggest to put on it? I don't think it can see out of it's eye so I'm not holding my breath on it keeping its eye. And I don't care I don't have a problem with a one eyed chicken. I just want to know if I should put anything on it to keep it from getting infected.

You could get some Terramycin ointment and put it in his eye if it has caused damage.
