Injured chick??

Broody mama australorp stepped on one of the hatchery in progress... It looked like she may have injured it, I saw a little blood by the shell. The chick is still in the shell and beak sticking out but hasn't broken all the way out yet. My questions are, if the chick is injured is there still a chance for survival? Does she still sit on them while they hatch? Thanks in advance.

They usually do sit on them while the eggs hatch. I'd just wait this one out.
As long as your hen is still sitting on the eggs.

She suffocated one. :/ and was kind of pecking at the one that hatched out. Do I have a dumb mama? She is 4 years old and this is the first set of chicks. There are a few more eggs that haven't hatched and we are goig on day 23.

I'd put the chick in a brooder.
