I recently have a chicken that has began limping she is almost 2 years of age, how do I tell if it is broken or not, she still puts some weight on it, but is limping rather terrible.

Have you looked at the bottom of her feet? Can you post pictures of th bottom of her feet an maybe a video of her walking?
We have checked the bottom of her feet and they are clear of any scrapes or wounds. Trying to get a video posted now

I may be a sprain then. Is there any heat or swelling on her ankle/leg?
Having problems getting the video to upload, but not that we have seen looks normal besides not wanting to put a whole lot of weight onto it.

I would assume its a sprain. Do you have any info on how this could have happened? is there any heat anywhere on the leg? You should separate her and put her in a chicken sling or a dog kennel so she won't be running on it. How are you trying to upload the video? To upload a video you have to pos tit on youtube or vimeo and post the link here. It's kinda difficult especially for people who don that a youtube account.

We have no idea how it could have happen she was fine this morning went out to check on them and she was limping. We have her in a dog kennel right now with some water and food. She seems to be putting some weight on it every so often. Oh I will have to try the YouTube method.
