Our injured chicken that we rehabbed in our garage recently moved back to the coop. She is not 100% healed but she seemed very depressed so we moved her back out. She has been ranging with her flock for 2 full days now, stays to herself a bit but with no incidents (at least as far as we can see, there has been no blood from her wound, etc.) When she goes to roost she still heads for the garage, I assume out of habit. When we move her out to the coop, she roosts inside a nesting box. Is she just still getting comfortable with the flock again, or should that be a red flag?

When a bird is moved out of the flock then moved back in after as little as a couple days, that bird is like a new bird and needs to reestablish it's place in the pecking order.

I'd watch what happens at roost time, see if and how the flock might be keeping her off the roosts.
It may work out by itself in time, but I don't like them making a habit out of sleeping in nests so would put up another roost lower than the main ones for her to use until she works her way back in.
