We have = Day/Month/Year over here. Iatch a lot of know in the US=Month/Day/Year

I know that any country that has some ties to British, current or old-time, does month & day opposite of US. I watch a lot of Britbox.

We have many of the British's system like legal, laws, constitution...etc....and the British King is our King.

Good to know. I wasn't sure what ties there still were. I know quite a few of the shows I watch are filmed in Australia or New Zealand. Beautiful landscapes!

My gosh thats awful! We are supposed to get about an inch of snow tonight. It just melted yesterday and I got so excited to see the grass, but so much for that i guess

Around 20 years ago we had a referendum to vote yes/no to become republic, cut tie with the commonwealth UK. Majority of the people of Australia wants to continue to be part of the commonwealth, so that was that. There are about 41 countries that are still part of the commonwealth - UK.

Many movies, reality tv, and documentaries on our tv here are from the USA. We have British too, but more from America. Not many Australia made movies/documentaries/reality. Right now our channel 10 which own by CBS is showing Steven Colbert late night show.
