Also this works on any part on a chicken. If any of your chickens have a little blood on the head where she is being held by the rooster or scratches on her back from the rooster this will help. Also the picture with the chicken from using pick no more results. Also use the pick no more on the spot till you don't see and blood or scabs and you do not have to cover it because what the pick no more does is if another chicken goes to peck at that area it has a bad taste to the chicken and it makes them stop. Hope this helps!:frow

Hi @El chicken person :frow Welcome To BYC

How old is she?
Can you post some photos of her wounds?

Slow and lethargic after an injury doesn't sound too good. How long has she been like that?
I would put her in her own separate area, even at 8 weeks old, chicks can pick on an injured chicken.
You mention that she is drinking a lot of water, is her crop emptying overnight?

She is 16 weeks old and I've posted a pic of her injuries and one of her droppings she seems unsteady on her feet she has eaten and drunk water with apple cider vinegar in it but she sits by the feeder and waterer with her eyes closed most of the day

Could you take a close look at that wound on top of her head .... Is the exposed part muscle or bone? I'm thinking its a possible neurological issue due to where she has been pecked, and the symptoms you're describing. Could you get a closer pic?

Rooster Booster is a good supplement, Pick No More won't hurt but as Wyorp Rock recommenced, best to separate her until she heals. She needs rest & quiet, 8wk olds are not very quiet and full of energy.
