Injured chickens: should I bathe them?

My two chickens appear to have been attacked. They both are very dirty, possibly wet (though I'm not sure how since it hasn't rained), and maybe injured. One in particular seems injured. I feel like I should bathe them to wash off whatever gunk has been transferred to them, but will this only add to the trauma? I have them in my bath tub right now.

How injured are they? I had two girls once with large gouges in their sides. I gave them quick, gentle baths and bathed their wounds with watered down iodine (don't use peroxide). Dry them with a towel, gently and keep them by a heater so they don't get cold. If you can, feed them something warm like some warm oatmeal. I then packed my girls wounds with polysporin (neosporin to americans).
