I have two hens that were attacked by a predator early this morning, they will not lift their heads but their injuries do not look that severe. They have some puncture wounds and missing feathers but no gaping wounds. Any suggestions?

Your birds are probably in shock. Puncture wounds can look small from the outside but there could be tissue damage on the inside. Make sure the birds take water to which you can add probiotics. Clean wounds with saline solution, or antibiotic and monitor for any signs of infection setting in. They could also be badly bruised and sore after the attack. See if you can get them to eat some scrambled or hard boiled egg to boost them.
