Farmer Shell
Chirping
Hi all!
I have five black autralorps, they are about 2 years old. One of them has started being broody, but she hasn't pecked at me (only made that classic noise). Today I went out to bring her outside and saw blood on the walls of one nesting box. After checking them all, one hen (not the broody one) has an injured comb. My best guess is she got too close to the broody one.
My question is, should I try to clean or do anything to it or just leave it and see how it is tomorrow? She was not pleased about me trying to take a look at it. I think it happened in the last 24 hours.
Thank you!
As for the broody one - I've been hoping she'll snap out of it, but I may need to break her soon.
