Hi I’m new to rasint ducklings recently my second duck has hatched and I noticed, Mellow wasn’t able to stand straight or walk completely he or she is just a day old. Temperature is set to 95 food and water is there I gave Mellow water an hour before feeding but I’m not sure why Mellow is walking like he or she is injured , I checked mellows flipper isn’t in pain nor is there signs of “bumblefootl although mellow was very small when born should I give mellow Niacin non flushed ? I’m trying to find it or can i substitute it with Super B complex tablets and add 100Mg to every gallon of water. I’m trying to find niacin or brewers yeast but no luck. I cannot upload the video so if you can message me l show you

I'm surprised you haven't gotten much response yet. :hmm

I wouldn't think it would be niacin already... but imagine anything is possible. I have seen chicks hatch with nutrient deficiency ... and the parent stock's nutrition matters. Also sometimes there is something genetic causing disruption of absorption.

I contacted Purina and the amount in their Flock Raiser is good for ducks.

I hope you will get more response! @WVduckchick @chickens really A couple people I know with way more duck experience than me. :fl
