Injured duckling

hello,
My 1 month old ducklings have been out in the garden for all of today. When I brought them in I noticed that Kermit had two cuts on the back of her legs at the exact same point. I didn’t think much of this because they looked clean, shallow and healing nicely. But this evening I noticed spots of blood on the puppy pads that they sleep on. I presume that this is from kermits leg wounds and not something more serious. Does anyone have any advise on how to treat kermits cuts as they look sore?

Can you clean them with warm soapy water then apply some Neosporin?

My ducks are all free range round my garden which is quite large. I did check make sure there was nothing like wire or sharp stuff that they could hurt them self on but I couldn’t find anything. Shall have another look tomorrow though.

What is germolene is it an antibiotic ointment? Then yes

It is an antiseptic cream
