Injured eye?

So I was handling one of my ducklings tonight and she flipped over onto her back. She is only 9 days old. It happened in seconds. Im so upset about it. The eye itself seems fine, its just brown crusties around it. Shes doing well otherwise. Eating/drinking, walking fine etc. The picture i have is of the eye that's better. I couldn't get a picture of the one thats worse without stressing them out. I'm just a worried duck mom. Any suggestions would be great. They are on chick started feed constantly.

Doesn't look that bad to me, just wash it off with some warm damp cloth, and if needed you can apply a poultry ophthalmic ointment around the eye. Are you adding a niacin supplement to their feed, chick starter does not have enough niacin in it for ducks which often leads to leg problems.

It looks a lot better this morning. I was told by the breeder to add molasses. They have been doing great on that

Awesome, go easy on the molasses, they probably won't need anymore.

I only put a teaspoon into a one gallon jug and use that for the day. They are only 9 days old at this point. Do I need to add anything else to their water if I stop using molasses?
