I have a 4 1/2 month old ISA Brown with a cut toe. It looks really painful and the hen limps around. She is already laying and I don't want to loose her.
At first it looked like just a small cut, so I put ointment on it and covered it up so the other hens wouldn't peck at it. Then, it got worse and I think it might be infected. It is warm to the touch.
What should I do?
