Injured leg

I think that’s a god plan. Hope you see much improvement:fl

Thanks. Do you think it is worth getting an x-ray as well? What are the risks? Vet was talking about gas & air type relaxant/anaesthetic?

Ask your vet about the risks and ask if there is any way they could do the x-rays without anesthesia.

Give him a week inside your planned area and no improvement then opt for X-ray. Of course always up to you are you giving any poultry vitamins That would be good too.

Ok, good plan. No, no vitamins, assumed those would be in the food (Smallholder Range Goose & Duck Breeder Pellets)...what vitamins would you suggest?

Maybe that is why he mentioned gas & air? It would have to be something that totally relaxes him and keeps him still, but doesn’t cause him any stress...that is my main concern

Ask if there are risks using it.

Here's an update - yesterday I put netting up around their run and bath - Matilda was a bit upset at first, but both have settled down, and in fact, she has now decided to sit on her eggs!

Hopefully this will help Frank's leg improve as he won't be wandering all over the garden. I'll keep an eye on him for a week, and if still no improvement, will look at getting him xrayed.
