Well, the little darling is walking a bit now??? Idk what happened...

I'm super thrilled about her quick recovery! I would force her to take it easy for a couple days, no duck sandwiches or frantic pivoting for fly hunting. It looked like she probably lucked out on avoiding the vet!

She's absolutely fine. So weird. One minute she's scooching around, using her wings to move forward... and the next, she's running around like normal.

I think she just wanted to give me a heart attack.

Nerves can be sneaky buzzards : One moment i'm walking into the duck house, the next moment i roll in duck-poop because my sciatic nerve has turned my left leg into yello…
She might had a pinched nerve, painful like being thrown into a fryer and gone in the next moment.
One of my girls from last autumn was limping too this afternoon - until she heart me opening a new bag of cat-food…
