Injured Leg

I have a chicken that suddenly can't use one of it's legs. I see no visible sign of injury and the foot looks normal. She also looks just as healthy as ever. I am letting her rest to see if it is just a temporary thing but am afraid she may end up having to be a meal. Bummer too since she is still a good layer. Any ideas on possible problem appreciated.

Does she limp or drag the leg, or sit down a lot? Has she had a Mareks vaccine? Do you have high roosts where she may have strained her leg? I would probably confine her to a crate inside the coop, and rest her leg for a week or so. Give vitamins in water, and watch her behavior. Place food and water close enough so she doesn't starve herself.

She sits a lot and appears to drag it and not use it at all. No vaccines. I am thinking strain she did tend to sit on the highest roost and a strain may be the issue so I hope.
