George adapted well to his injury. His right leg suffered multiple fractures with exposed bone. I really didn't expect him to survive and almost killed him to prevent more suffering. I set the bone, bandaged the leg, and the next day the vet arrived to radiograph the leg. Amazingly I had managed to align the bone. I changed the bandage 1 x week for three weeks and the fourth week I left the bandage off. He stayed in the hospital cage and was released to his private coop we built just for him. One of the more expensive strays to wander in.











While he has not gained full use of the leg, he does get around very well.
