injured pullet and really sick rooster!

ok good..my husband said the same thing, but i was still worried.
he lasted through the night...he isnt doing much of anything but standing, but hes still hanging in there..he has really bad gas now though!
my poor chicken that was attacked is still alive too but we think she has really bad brain damage..shes just laying there in a really deep sleep..she doesnt seem to be hurting,just sleeping.

I hate to say this but maybe you should think about ending her misery. What a sad thing.

my son is doing just that now..i cant stand to see her linger. luckily, my son is less squeamish than me.

the rooster is actually outside now, standing around and just following the girls around..so i guess thats good.

update:

my rooster died

i picked him up and he started foaming at the mouth, went into convulsions and died.
can anyone give me any ideas of what it couldve been so that the rest of my birds dont get whatever he had????
