Hello, i need some help, my sister in law brought me an abandoned pullet she found on the side of the road, and apparently her left leg is broken at the knee... is there anything i can do for this pullet (her breed is unknown currently, and looks to be roughly 3 - 4 months of age) and we believe she might have been hit by a car...

Any help is appreciated, and I wish the best for this pullet

i just did a closer check, and apparently looks like something actually attacker her (all her tail feathers fell out while i was checking her for any other injuries), she is also somewhat dehydrated, and i am getting her some electrolyte water in her to help her recover

i checked on the pullet this morning, and found that she passed away sadly... i wish there was more i could do for her, but all i know is she was as comfortable as i could keep her before she passed away

So sorry for your loss, and also sorry that we are only now answering your thread. If she was hit by a car, or hurt by a predator, she may well have suffered internal injuries where nothing you could do might have helped. It was kind that you tried to save her.

its ok, i know i did the best i could, currently in my area i'm one of very few people that would happily take in chickens, ducks, geese turkeys, peafowl, and guineas, that are either injured or just need a loving home
